Abstract
"Numbers" and "measures" are closely related. Skimming primary mathematics textbooks in the market, it is easy to find two major topics of these books: "decimal numeration" and "measures". The decimal system provides essential knowledge for the study of measurements. However, it seems that the measurements are not exploited in a relevant way for the study of decimal numbers. In this article, we will present an experimental study to fill this gap.
