THE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OF THE REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMENT IN SOUTH VIET NAM (1960-1976)

Abstract
Together with the process of fighting against the U.S. government – the Republic of Vietnam, the revolutionary government in South Vietnam constantly established and expanded international relations to enlist the support and help of the countries around the world, helping them to understand the standpoint and the just war against the American invasion of the people of South Vietnam. During the years of 1960-1976, many countries recognized and established diplomatic relations with the revolutionary government, contributing to enhancing the prestige and position of the government in South Vietnam. Adapting the historical – logical methods and documentation, the results of the study allows the researcher to describe basically the process of establishing and expanding the international relations of the government with many great achievements in South Vietnam. At the same time, the results also show the great international roles and position of the government in leading the people of South Vietnam to fight against the U.S. – the Republic of Vietnam. These achievements in the foreign affairs contributed to the final victory of the Vietnamese people fighting againts the American towards reunification.
