CURICULUM DEVELOPMENT FOR THE VIETNAMESE LANGUAGE IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS BASED ON TEACHING AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS IN LINE WITH VIET NAM 2018 GENERAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM

Abstract

The article studies teaching and educational materials in relation to the development of the Vietnamese language curriculum for primary schools. The study begins with related concepts about corpus, teaching and educational materials, teaching materials for the Vietnamese language in primary schools. These concepts were studied from a chronological and synchronous perspective using methods of analysis, synthesis, and comparison during the development of the Vietnamese language curricula for primary schools. Since then, the article proposes a curriculum for the Vietnamese language based on teaching and educational materials. Proposals focus on two ways: guiding teachers to select and adjust existing materials, and design and build new materials to suit specific teaching and educational conditions to develop qualities and competencies for primary students.
