Từ đầu thế kỉ XXI, văn hóa chấn thương đương đại cho thấy vai trò ngày càng tăng của tác nhân phi nhân loại, dẫn đến việc khái niệm hóa chấn thương như hiện tượng hậu nhân bản. Quan điểm này đòi hỏi cách tiếp cận liên ngành tích hợp lí thuyết chấn thương và hậu nhân bản để giải quyết sâu sắc và toàn diện những vấn đề phức tạp của xã hội đương đại. Bằng cách sử dụng tham chiếu liên thuyết, cách đọc song song và giải cấu trúc, nghiên cứu này xem xét các kết nối, giao cắt, hội tụ, tương tác và cộng hưởng giữa lí thuyết chấn thương và hậu nhân bản. Cách tiếp cận tích hợp này còn cho thấy tiềm năng đáng kể trong việc ứng dụng nghiên cứu văn hóa, văn học, triết học, cũng như khoa học hậu nhân bản nói chung. Thêm vào đó, bài viết gợi mở các phương diện cần được tiếp tục nghiên cứu, đóng góp cho sự phát triển liên tục của lĩnh vực liên ngành này.
