As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published in any languages; and must not be under submission nor will be submitted elsewhere while under consideration by the HCMUE J. SCI.;
The submission file format is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect;
The path of reference is provided.
Documents using single line spacing; font size 12 point; italics instead of underscores (except for addresses on the Internet); All illustrations, charts and tables are placed in appropriate positions in the article instead of at the end of the article.

Author Guidelines
HCMUE J. Sci. publishes papers relating to Educational Science, Natural Sciences and Technologyand Social Sciences and Humanities. To support local scholars and promote research collaboration within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the journal especially welcomes manuscripts that address these topics in the context of Vietnam and ASEAN countries. Contributions to HCMUE J. Sci. can be either as an original research article or as a review article.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Education Journal of Science (HCMUE J. Sci.) is a multi-disciplinary publishes peer-reviewed and open access journal. Before submission, please read Author’s Guideline carefully; doing so will ensure that the publication of your manuscript is as rapid and efficient as possible. Manuscript Submission: All manuscripts should be submitted online. The manuscripts should be prepared in MS Word 2007 or above. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be written in English, Vietnamese, French or Chinese. The main text can be divided into separated sections, organized by Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion (this section may be divided into subsections or may be combined) and Conclusion.
v Formatting
A research article manuscript template can be downloaded here. All manuscripts are encouraged to follow the following structure:
Paper Title: A title should be no more than 20 words, brief, specific, and informative.
Author Details: Full name for all authors should be given; The names of multiple authors are separated by a comma; Provide the full affiliation (in both Vietnamese and English) for each author including academic affiliation (or postal address), city, country, Email (optional); If multiple authors have contributed to the article, details of the corresponding author should be clear. Email address is compulsory for the corresponding author.
Note: Name of foreign affiliation may be only written in English
Abstract: The abstract should concisely state the purpose of the investigation and summarize important conclusions. It should be a single paragraph of generally no more than 250 words.
The Abstract of the paper is written both in the language of the paper (e.g. Vietnamese, French or Chinese) and English. For paper in English, besides an Abstract in English, authors should include an Abstract in Vietnamese (except the corresponding author is a foreigner).
Keywords: 3 to 8 keywords or short phrases for indexing.
Introduction: Provide a brief overview of the scope and relevance of the research, especially with regard to previous advancements in related fields.
Materials and Methods: Present the research design, research type, research duration, inclusion/exclusion criteria, choice of subjects, etc. Describe the methodology completely, including sample collection, processing, lab analysis, statistical tests used for data analysis, etc. Use section headings/subheadings in a logical order to entitle each category or method. (e.g. 1, 2; 1.1, 2.1; 1.1.1, 2.1.1...etc).
Results and Discussion (this section may be divided into subsections or may be combined)
Results: Present and illustrate your findings objectively and concisely, if appropriate, with figures/ tables. In the main text, describe each of your results by a particular observation.
Discussion: Provide an interpretation of your results and make comparisons with other studies. The significance of the findings should be clearly described. If your results differ from your expectations, explain why that may have happened.
Conclusion: Present the outcome of the work by interpreting the findings at a higher level of abstraction than the Discussion and by relating these findings to the motivation stated in the Introduction.
Conflicts of Interest: Authors must declare all relevant interests that could be perceived as conflicting. If no conflicts exist, the authors should state this. Submitting authors are responsible for coauthors declaring their interests.
Acknowledgments: All acknowledgments (if any) should be included at the very end of the manuscript before the references. Anyone who contributes to the research or manuscript, but who is not a listed author, should be acknowledged (with their permission)
References: Authors have to submit their references in APA style. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the information in each reference is complete and accurate. All references should be cited within the text and uncited references will be removed.
v Publication Charges
Being an open access journal, HCMUE Journal of Science (ISSN: 2734-9918) may bee freely accessed over the internet. Cost is only used for peer-reviewing, editing, and formatting articles for online publication. The cost is also used to keep the journal open access to readers.
