Abstract

 

Tang and Han poetic exegesis of Mr. Tao Jingjie's Poems plays an important role in the history of Chinese poetry and has made important contributions to the development of poetic exegesis and the annotation of Chinese classical poetry. It also shows that as early as the Song Dynasty, the annotation of Chinese poetry has matured with the method of epic proof. This paper summarizes the value and characteristics of Tang Han's annotation of Mr. Tao Jingjie's Poems. Tang Han's annotation of Tao is the first annotation edition of Yuanmingji and the ancestor of a large number of later annotations of Tao Ji, which has a prominent position in the annotations of Tao Ji. The important academic value of Tang and Han's annotation of Tao is manifested through two main features. The first is to create the annotation edition of Tao Yuanming's poems. Secondly, it is to open up a deep-seated method of historical evidence to reveal the extremely important potential ideological connotation, historical connotation, and related artistic attainments of Tao Yuanming's poems, which has a profound impact on the history of Tao Yuanming's research. Based on the evaluation of Tang Han's annotation of poetry in the past dynasties and the study of Tang Han's annotation of poetry in this paper, the values and characteristics of Tang Han's annotation of Mr. Tao Jingjie's Poetry lies in its literature value and its connection between the past and the future. It also creates the annotations of poetic collections, emphasizes the invention of poetry, and creates high-level poetry. It is the academic spirit of seeking truth from facts.
