Abstract

 

This article applies reception theory, emphasizing on the concept of reception horizon, in examining the 2 translated versions of Divine Comedy by Le Tri Vien and Nguyen Van Hoan in order to find out the outstanding features of the translation and research works of Divine Comedy in Vietnam. In this process, the change in the reception horizon of these two translators is considered as a non-stop progress of setting limits and extending reception.
