THE RICH – POOR GAP IN PEOPLE’S LIVING STANDARDS IN BINH DINH PROVINCE PERIOD 2010-2016

Abstract

The article studies the rich – poor gap in people’s living standards in Binh Dinh through some criteria associated with the people’s income levell. The analysis shows that the rich – poor gap in Binh Dinh province through GINI coefficient demonsrtates a gap of 20% in the richest households and 20% in the poorest households; the “40%” criterion achieved an equal level. However, there still exists the rich – poor gap, the plain and coastal areas show less profound gap than the midland and mountainous areas.
