ECOTOURISM DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL AND ORIENTATION OF KE GO NATURAL RESERVATION AREA – HA TINH

Abstract
Ke Go Nature Reservation Area in Ha Tinh is an ecological area with biodiversity, housing many kinds of rare plants and animals as well as having many tourist-attracting and interesting natural landscapes. This paper presents the results of using SWOT tool to analyze the potentials of eco-tourism development in Ke Go Nature Reserve Area and proposes orientations for the sustainable eco-tourism development of this area. Located in a geographical position favorable for the movement of tourists, with unique diverse landscapes and rich biological resources of species composition, Ke Go has great advantages for ecotourism development. In order to develop eco-tourism sustainably to ensure the harmonization of economic, social, and environmental benefits in Ke Go Nature Reservation, the exploitation is required to comply with the government planning. It is encouraged to engage local communities in the exploitation and strengthen advertising and education on environmental protection and biodiversity.
