Abstract

Kieu Thanh Que is a Vietnamese researcher and literary critic in the first half of the twentieth century. Within 10 years of professional activities, he has a large number of works. He is considered as an outstanding researcher in the South. This article will explore not only his research methods and literary criticism but also his textual structure, style, and language in his works. The results show that he is flexible in applying various research methods, his structure of the research is logical and coherent, and his style is frank and direct to the research objectives. In addition, he also used the typical research language of the South Vietnamese in the first half of the twentieth century.
