FACTORS AFFECTING THE DECISION TO CHOOSE PHU QUOC BY DOMESTIC TRAVELERS

Abstract
The decision to choose a travel destination is one of the core and the most important issues of tourist consumer behavior. For a traveler market, studying the factors that influence the choice of destination is essential because it provides a clearer view of what travelers are looking for. The paper sets up a model to evaluate the factors affecting the choice of the destination by domestic travelers. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was used. The results show that there are four factors (pulling motivation; pushing motivation; tour price; advertising information) that influence the decision to select Phu Quoc as a destination for domestic tourists. From the results, we propose the priority level in implementing appropriate solutions to improve the attractiveness of Phu Quoc.
