SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN K20 BASE, DA NANG CITY

The revolutionary Base “K20” is located in Khue My ward, Ngu Hanh Son district, Da Nang city. It also stores relics, artifacts and secret tunnels of historical value and proves a tough and indomitable struggle in the hearts of the cadres and Da Nang people. The K20 base was recognized as a national monument and exploited by the city's various industries to develop tourism. Research results at K20 show that tourism development is associated with conservation, embellishment of monuments as well as appropriate mechanisms and policies to ensure sustainable tourism development here is an acute issue. set. This article will focus on clarifying the outstanding values of history, culture, ecological landscape of the K20 base as well as suggesting some measures on planning, investment in embellishment and tourism promotion at K20 to develop sustainable tourism at this site. Besides the advantages of geographical location, historical value, landscape, ecology...; There are still difficulties in this area such as the general planning has not been given due attention; infrastructure system, technical infrastructure is not synchronous; the role of the local community has not been promoted; negative impacts of the urbanization process... The research results at K20 show that the development of tourism coupled with the preservation and embellishing of relics as well as appropriate policy mechanisms to ensure sustainable tourism development here is an urgent issue.
