LITERATURE FOR CHILDREN AND ITS EDUCATIONAL EFFECTS ON CHILDREN: STORIES BY VO DIEU THANH AND VAN THANH LE

Abstract

 

Literature plays an important role in the comprehensive development of personality and skills for children. Writing with passionate caring for children, Vo Dieu Thanh and Van Thanh Le skillfully integrate educational lessons on every single page of their writings. This article presents similar views about children's education conveyed in stories by the two authors Vo Dieu Thanh and Van Thanh Le. Three educational lessons were then categorised based on the comparison results:  lesson on the love for nature, lesson on the love for human and lesson on life skills. These lessons are suitable for age psychology and raising children’s awareness and application in life.
