“MEANING MATRIX” OF ARTISTIC NOTATION IN THE POEM “WHITE HAIR” (VU QUAN PHUONG) Ho Van Hai

Abstract
The paper aims to decode the poem Toc Trang (White Hair) as a "meaning matrix" that includes a system of elements of many different levels. This is a new direction and demonstrated to be effective one. This approach sees the poem as a meaningful complex built on certain principles. A poem's "meaningful path" can be scalar, navigational, weighted or weightless. Each path can offer a certain value to analyse the whole poem. Using this approach to decode “White Hair” poem enables end-readers to enjoy and study the beauty of language and the poet’s creativity within the composing process.
