THE LITERATURE SCHOOL OF NGO GIA VAN PHAI AND THE FUNCTION ISSUES OF LITERATURE

Abstract

 

 

“Ngo gia van phai” is an outstanding literary group of the medieval period. In addition to writing achievements, the group is also well known for certain notions of literary theory. Functionally, they appreciated the function of morality, reflecting reality and aesthetics. In any respect,the writers of Ngo gia van phai indicated their suitable perspectives. These perspectives were learned from previous writers and from their own experiences. Using systematic review, the article highlights theoretical reasonings related to the function of literature of Ngo gia van phai. The article also aims to introduce the writing theory of Ngo gia van phai as a basis for interpreting the works of this school in particular and medieval literature in general
