Abstract

The study conducted an integrated assessment of the natural conditions of the Long Xuyen Quadrangle for the protection and development of wetland forests, with the unit selected for assessment as the landscape type. The comprehensive evaluation is determined by means of all factors. The weights of the factors are determined by the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the corresponding adaptive levels on equal-interval formula. The results of the study showed that 59 types of landscape are very adaptable, and 20 landscape types are moderately adaptable for the development of flooded forests in the Long Xuyen Quadrangle. Based on the results, solutions for the conservation and development of flooded forests in the region are offered.
