THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE CULTURE AND THE CHANCELLERY LUU NHAN CHU SEEN FROM VIMALAKĪRTI NIRDEŚA SŪTRA

Abstract
This article applies poetic, structural, and interdisciplinary methods to research. It also clarifies the cultural characteristics of Thai Nguyen province and the ideological and artistic values of the novel "The Chancellery Luu Nhan Chu" by Hoang Thuy Giang regarding the special meanings of Vimalakīrti Nirdeśa Sūtra. As a result, the image of Luu Nhan Chu, the hero of Thai Nguyen, was analyzed under many layers of regional cultural meanings of Buddhist thought. Based on the analysis, the paper identifies some issues in receiving the novels of The Chancellery Luu Nhan Chu and Vimalakīrti Nirdeśa Sūtra to point out the contribution of Thai Nguyen Buddhist culture to the development of society and the country.
