Abstract

This study aims to examine the isotopic composition of regional rainwater and river water of major rivers in Southern Vietnam. Monthly rainwater is collected at three stations and river water at five stations on Tien and Hau Rivers during the period from February 2021 to December 2021. The analysis results of stable and radioactive isotope composition showed that regional rain water and river water had distinctly different origins. Regional rainwater has  more stable isotopic composition than water in Tien and Hau Rivers. Tritium radioisotopes of water in Tien and Hau rivers are higher than regional rainwater. The local meteoric waterline in Southern Vietnam is determined as .
