Abstract

The purpose of this article is to design a website that supports teaching the Vietnamese language subject to fourth-grade students. This research has designed a website interface called “Tieng Viet va nguoi ban so” consisting of four projects for teaching the Vietnamese language subject to fourth-grade students: (1) Covid – stay away; (2) Plastic waste – nobody's business; (3) I read books; (4) Sowing green seeds. Each project lasts from 2 to 6 weeks, includes reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities as well as activities of other subjects (planting trees, painting, designing Posters or Power Point, and so on). The experimental results at two primary schools in Ho Chi Minh City show the feasibility of this website with high evaluation for the form and content of the website. Students showed theirinterest in learning the subject and achieved thelearning outcomes when participating in the two projects on this website.
