Abstract

The ecofeminism has been since 1974 with the aim of discussing the relationship between ecology and feminism. It seems to open up the perspective of approaching literary works in a complex view. As a contemporary writer attached to the Mekong Delta, in her writings, Nguyen Ngoc Tu seems to have recreated the image of the Mekong Delta woman with environmental change as a crossing issue from the Immensity Field, the Splendid Sky Smoke to the River. On that basis, the article discusses how to portray the image of a woman in her novel, River, from ecofeminism point with the following basic contents: 1) The woman and the ecological environment sympathy and reciprocity; 2) The woman and the breakage of the environment; 3) The woman with the journey to leave as the search for a new life and 4) The women with evocative awareness of
protective environmen.
