APPLICATION OF GENERAL SCORE SCOPE TO ASSESS THE POINTS OF RESOURCES FOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT OF LAM DONG PROVINCE

Abstract
With rich and diverse tourism resources, Lam Dong is a potential place attractive to tourists, but the tourism industry in Lam Dong has not been developed respectively with its inherent potential. Assessing tourism resources in Lam Dong is necessary for developing relevant tourism products and types responsive to the needs of tourists. The article presents the assessment results of 15 tourism resources in Lam Dong. The assessment was conducted with six criteria, five levels for each criterion. Research results show that out of 15 tourism resource points of Lam Dong, five resource points were assessed as very favorable and attractive, six as favorable and attractive, and four points as convenient and attractive. Based on the result, the paper proposes solutions to better exploit tourism resources to serve the tourism development of Lam Dong province.
