Abstract

The paper uses literature review method to explore the teaching methods used in university entrepreneurship education through real-life narratives. The research findings show that entrepreneurship education is influenced by business education and inherits the case-based teaching method. In teaching entrepreneurship, case studies based on real-life narratives of entrepreneurs have been widely used. These case studies promote students’ engagement in learning, especially when the narrative cases are about entrepreneurs who have backgrounds, traits and entrepreneurial activities close to students. In addition to using available entrepreneurial narratives, instructors can find untold entrepreneurial stories on their own and transform them into compelling case studies.
