BUILDING HAPPY SCHOOLS IN LONG AN: FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF MANAGERS, TEACHERS, AND STUDENTS

Abstract

A happy school model has been deployed by the Ministry of Education and Training since 2019 and has been implemented by many educational institutions across Vietnam with different criteria suitable to the local contexts, ensuring three key criteria: love, safety, and respect. The article reports a study examining how administrators, teachers, and students built happy schools in Long An province. Research results show that administrators, teachers, and students self-reported a fair and good level of building happy schools in Long An province . This result shows that there are still certain limitations in building happy schools. Therefore, more attention should be paid  to build schools to be happy ones with commitments and feasible tasks.
