Abstract

The article analyzes the concept of social withdrawal, its behaviors, and the classification of these behaviors. On that basis, the article also establishes social withdrawal prevention strategies, which are understood as ways of impacting and solving problems to prevent and minimize withdrawal behaviors that are consistently evident in various situations and over time when encountering familiar and/or unfamiliar social relationships, particularly with peer relationships. There are three groups of strategies to prevent social withdrawal behavior, including: (1) evaluate and screen for social withdrawal behavior, (2) prevent social withdrawal behavior, and (3) intervene and psychological support for students with social withdrawal behavior.
