PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE FOLK LITERARY HERITAGE OF ETHNIC GROUPS IN VIETNAM'S CENTRAL HIGHLANDS

Abstract
The article highlights the importance of preserving and promoting folk literary values among ethnic groups in Vietnam's Central Highlands region. This endeavor not only contributes to sustaining and developing the cultural heritage of these local communities but also creates opportunities for the expression of their unique identities within the broader context of Vietnam's international integration. The article presents the intrinsic values and significance of folk literature among the Central Highlands' ethnic groups. Building upon this foundation, the article proposes several key solutions. Firstly, it advocates raising awareness about the value and importance of these communities' folk literature. Secondly, it recommends leveraging science and technology to digitize and securely archive folk literary works, ensuring their sustainable preservation. The central emphasis of the article is on the critical role of safeguarding and promoting folk literary values in fostering social consciousness and cultivating respect for the rich cultural diversity of the Central Highlands' ethnic minorities.
