THE BALANCED DIPLOMACY PERSPECTIVE OF THE VIETNAM WORKERS' PARTY DURING THE RESISTANCE WAR AGAINST THE U.S. FOR NATIONAL SALVATION (1954-1975)

Abstract
This article clarifies the Vietnam Workers' Party's balanced foreign policy during the complex international relations from 1954 to 1975. By analyzing the process of formulating a foreign policy that was balanced, independent, and self-reliant during the Party's resistance war against the U.S. for national salvation, particularly at pivotal historical moments, the article sheds light on the Party's international strategy and diplomatic approach—key factors that contributed to the success of the resistance. The experiences drawn from this historical period can be applied to the current efforts in nation-building and defense.
