Abstract

The research was carried out based on the results of monitoring, tracking, and evaluating the nutritional status of banana leaves (Musa acuminata) at 90 farms in Trang Bom and Thong Nhat Districts, Dong Nai Province from 2021 to 2023. The results show that by applying the DRIS method, the threshold for nutrient decentralization in leaves at an appropriate level was N = 2.49%-2.89%, P₂O₅ = 0.14%-0,19%, K₂O = 2.45%-3.45%, Ca = 0.93%-1.01%, Mg = 0.33%-0.38%, S = 0.14%-0.39%, Cu = 4.35-8.57 mg/kg, Zn = 11.62-19.53 mg/kg, and B = 13.40-30.35 mg/kg. The leaf nutrient scales are very deficient, deficient, suitable, excessive, and very excessive. Common limited nutritional elements are P, Ca, B, Mg, and N in Trang Bom District and K, S, Zn, Cu, and N in Thong Nhat District. The nutrient balance index (NBI) among gardens ranges from 47 to 91. With these parameters, it is possible to evaluate timely the nutritional status and adjust fertilizer regimes
in reality.
