Abstract

Interactive communication is a modern term, a key feature of today's information age. With the importance of interaction in real-life social communication, this research searches for criteria for interactive communication from previous studies on language teaching and test sets to assess language practical skills in the world and the possibility of applying those criteria to teaching Vietnamese to foreigners in writing skills. Proposals will also be suggested on teaching techniques to enhance interactive elements, on reviewing and re-evaluating lessons and tests to assess Vietnamese writing competence, as well as on the prospects of compiling textbooks for teaching interactive Vietnamese communication for foreigners.
