SOME MODELS SUPPORT TEACHING THE CONCEPT OF RANDOMNESS AND MEASUREMENT OF PROBABILITY
Main Article Content
Abstract
The 2018 Vietnam General Education Curriculum has been implemented in high schools, in which statistics and probability are one of the three main strands of knowledge in the Math curriculum. This knowledge is often considered difficult for students to understand, so teachers are encouraged to be creative in presenting lessons. With the rapid development of information technology, the advent of software and mathematical tools has contributed to supporting teachers in creating lively and attractive interactive lessons. This article aims to introduce some visual models on Geogebra software to assist in analyzing the concept of randomness as well as ideas about measuring the probability of random events. Dynamic models are built with results presented in tables and graphs to enhance student learning.
