MARITAL SATISFACTION OF ADULTS IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract
This article aims to investigate marital satisfaction among adults in Ho Chi Minh City and compare differences based on gender, age, marital duration, and religious beliefs. The participants were 653 adults aged 20 to 60 residing in Ho Chi Minh City. The research results indicate that over 55% of adults reported they were satisfied with their marriage (at a high or very high level). The data also indicate that 17.3% of the participants perceived low or no marital satisfaction, and 25.1% reported average satisfaction levels. The article also presents some significant aspects of marital satisfaction, highlighting the highest and lowest levels. There is a difference in marital satisfaction among adults in Ho Chi Minh City based on gender, with males reporting higher satisfaction than females. Couples with shared religious beliefs experienced higher marital satisfaction compared to those with different beliefs. There is no significant difference in marital satisfaction based on age and marital duration in the study.
