THE ARTISTIC WORLD IN NGUYEN DUC SON’S POEMS

Abstract

This article analyzes the unique features of the artistic world in Nguyen Duc Son’s poems. Among all genres of litereature, Nguyen Duc Son excelled in poetry. Nguyen Duc Son's poetic universe is rich, diverse, extremely unique and contains controversial issues. In Nguyen Duc Son’s artistic world of poetry, there is the beauty of a classic, dreamy and transcendent poetic soul, harmony with nature, with some traces of Zen style. However, Nguyen Duc Son's poetry seems to stand out because of its playful, bizarre nature, and the bold, unexpected placements of chaste and vulgar elements. Using a systematic method and taking a historical perspective, the article focuses on analyzing the unique features in the artistic world of Nguyen Duc Son's poetry to affirm the position of Nguyen Duc Son in modern Vietnamese poetic process.
