Abstract

Practicum serves as a crucial component of teacher training, providing students with hands-on experience in teaching, skill development, and professional growth. Through this process, students acquire foundational knowledge and competencies necessary to independently perform teaching and educational tasks in accordance with professional standards. Effective management of practicum, particularly in primary teacher training, plays a vital role in enhancing the overall quality of teacher education programs. The article critically analyzes the current management of practicum in primary school teacher training at teacher education universities, offering an objective assessment of its implementation across key functions, with a particular focus on planning and evaluation. The findings contribute to improving teacher training quality and aligning with the demands of educational reform.
