Abstract

In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), rapid technological advancements are reshaping various sectors, including higher education and intellectual property (IP) management at universities. To adapt to these changes, universities need to improve their IP management to ensure the effective use of creative assets and sustainable growth. This article examines the impact of Industry 4.0 on IP management in higher education and suggests ways to apply technology to enhance IP protection and management while supporting research and teaching activities. It also highlights the challenges and opportunities universities face in this domain, proposing suitable strategies to promote creativity, protect the rights of researchers, and improve the competitiveness of universities.
