Abstract

ABSTRACT


Students' competencies and qualities are core elements of the process of educating students to become global citizens, adaptable to change, useful to society and contribute to maintaining and improving education quality in school; demonstrates the comprehensiveness of the educational program. The article surveys and evaluates the judging of 3,831 teachers and 5,702 students about the competencies and qualities of students (including 11 items) in public secondary schools in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong and Tay Ninh shows that teachers and students in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong evaluates 11 items higher than in Tay Ninh; Independent Sample T-test between teachers and students in Ho Chi Minh City has 9/11 items and in Binh Duong has 11/11 items there is a significant difference, in Tay Ninh has 11/11 items there is no a significant difference in evaluation judgement between teachers and students; ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) between 3 provinces for teachers has 11/11 items and for students has 10/11 items there is a significant difference.
