AN ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN DA NANG CITY

Abstract
Assessing the impacts of Covid-19 on the tourism industry in general and businesses in particular, therefore is important in identifying the basic factors, thereby orienting development, tourism industry of Da Nang city in the new contexe. This research was conducted at a number of businesses and tourism establishments such as travel agencies, accommodation services, entertainment companies in Da Nang city to identify the impacts of the pandemic covid for tourism business. In this study, methods of analyzing and synthesizing documents and sociological investigation methods were applied to 75 travel companies, 150 accommodation businesses and 4 entertainment areas in the area city. The results showed that the company's business indicators had a serious decline during the pandemic, the livelihood of its human resources department, and also affected the direction of changing business methods and travel behavior.
