TEACHER EDUCATORS’ PROFESSIONAL LEARNING AND DEVELOPEMNT: LITERATURE REVIEW

This systematic review investigates the nature and ways of teacher educators' professional learning and development. By analyzing 26 research articles, we identified three primary contents of learning: knowledge base, pedagogy of teacher education, and research. Additionally, we found that teacher educators engage in a diverse range of learning activities, including action research, collaboration with colleagues; community of practice; courses and workshops; and mentoring and coaching. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of teacher educators' professional learning and can inform strategies to support their ongoing development.
