Abstract

This study examines the online learning readiness among graduate students at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The research employs a survey methodology, using a readiness scale that assesses key factors such as online learning conditions, technological skills, self-directed learning capacity, and attitudes toward online learning. Findings from a sample of 682 graduate students reveal a generally positive level of readiness for online learning. However, certain aspects require improvement, including internet accessibility, proficiency in navigating online learning platforms, sustained concentration, and engagement in online discussions. The findings highlight the importance of targeted interventions, particularly in developing students’ digital competencies and designing learner-centered online environments, to optimize the effectiveness of virtual education.
