Abstract

This study analyzes current practices and proposes solutions to improve the management, use, and commercialization of intellectual property (IP) at Nguyen Tat Thanh University through collaboration with businesses. The survey results show that although the university has introduced several incentive policies and initial management mechanisms, the commercialization of IP assets remains limited by insufficient experience, funding, facilities, and connections between supply and demand. The study therefore proposes strengthening IP governance and developing infrastructure to support commercialization, reinforce university–industry collaboration, and contribute to the national innovation ecosystem.
