Abstract
In order to teach applying competence-based approach, it is necessary to design a teaching plan in this direction. This paper proposes a process of designing competence-based lesson plans. Since students’ competence can only be developed through their activities, the process focuses on designing students’ learning activities. Based on the proposed process, a lesson plan on “Sum of the first n numbers in geometric progression” for students in 11th grade was developed and presented.
