ONLINE TEACHING DURING THE COVID 19 DISEASE PANDEMIC AT THE FACULTY OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE - HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY: LECTURERS AND STUDENT PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

 

During the social distancing periods in Vietnam, the Faculty of Traditional Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City has quickly changed to teaching and learning online. The research aims to collect students and lecturers’ feedback about the quality of the software used for online education and the effectiveness of online teaching and learning at the Faculty. The results showed that the online teaching, to some extent, is effective (the means are from 3.7-3.8/5.0). They reported that 76.7% of the content was delivered and 80.4% students reported that can learn the content. The research results are an important source of information to help the University and the Faculty to review and choose suitable teaching methods in the following years.
