SOLUTIONS FOR INCREASING THE EFFECT OF TEACHING LATIN AMERICAN LITERATURE IN VIETNAMESE LINGUISTIC & LITERATURE DEPARTMENT, HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION

Abstract
This research applies history research method, observation and interviewing to focus on the current situation, sets out directions and presents measures to improve the effectiveness of Latin American Literature teaching and learning at the Faculty of Language and Literature, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education on three basic contents including the organization of course delivery, lecturers and students. Therefore, the task of improving the quality of Latin American Literature teaching – studying needs to be carried out through a unified orientation on the subject organization, faculty development and diversification of activities of students. As a result, teaching principles and orientations such as constructiveness, integration and professional learning should be applied flexibly; the test and evaluation process must ensure the transparency, clearness and reliability.
