THE STUDY OF “SEXUAL JEALOUSY” AND “ATTACHMENT STYLES” IN INTIMACY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MALE AND FEMALE STUDENTS IN VIET NAM

Abstract
With the aim of understanding the sexual jealousy between male and female students and attachment styles as related to various types of jealously, we conducted a survey with 870 students in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The results show that (1) there is a difference in the correlation between “active attachment,” “negative attachment,” and “evading attachment” and “gender,” “love experience,” and “love affair” of students. In addition, the correlation between “experience in love triangle or not” and evading attachment is also different, and “be educated about sex or not” with evading or positive attachment is different, too; (2) “gender,” “status,” and “number of love affair” also affect differently to jealousy; and (3) there is a correlation between “positive attachment” “negative attachment,” and “evading attachment” and “jealousy”.
