Abstract

Digital scholarship, particularly the application of digital technology and methods to academic activities, has become a trend in universities. Therefore, universities are required to provide support for digital scholarship. The study employed content analysis to analyze the website content of nine academic libraries around the world that are currently providing digital scholarship services. The research results help to identify the characteristics of digital scholarship services in terms of service structure, functions, mode of services and support areas, and resources needed to implement digital scholarship services. This study thereby provides insights and best practices for Vietnam’s libraries in supporting digital scholarship.
