FACTORS INFLUENCING THE MANAGEMENT OF COMPETENCY-BASED TEACHING OF TEACHERS AT SPECIALIZED HIGH SCHOOLS IN HANOI

Abstract
A survey of 152 school leaders and teachers at three specialized high schools in Hanoi shows that the influence of predictors of the management of competency-based teaching activities of teachers at specialized high schools was rated above-average. In other words, the studied factors had significant impacts on the management of competency-based teaching activities of teachers at the specialized high schools. Of three groups of predictors, factors related to management environment and working conditions had the strongest influence. The highest-rated factor is welfare policies for teachers. There was no difference between the rating of school leaders and teachers.
