THE USE OF EXPERIENTIAL MOVEMENT GAMES IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION FOR GRADE 1 AND 2 STUDENTS IN HO CHI MINH CITY PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Abstract
Studies in Vietnam and worldwide have demonstrated that experiential movement games play a vital role in Physical Education for young learners, including students in Grades 1 and 2. This study investigates how experiential movement games were used in primary schools in Ho Chi Minh City, using a combination of surveys and interviews with teachers. The research results provide insight into current practices and serve as a foundation for the development and implementation of experiential movement games in Physical Education. The results aim to support teachers in designing engaging and age-appropriate movement activities to enhance students’ physical and social development.
