THE EVALUATION OF INTERMEDIATE VIETNAMESE TEXTBOOK FOR FOREIGNERS

Abstract
This paper examines and evaluate grammar structures provided in Vietnamese language teaching textbooks, intermediate level for foreigners. The paper describes and statistically analyses these structures. The results indicate that grammar structures in these textbooks are randomly selected and distributed. It is suggested to divide these grammar structuresinto two intermediate levels B1 and B2 for the textbooks. In conclusion, the research results will be used support both teaching and learning Vietnamese, compilation of textbooks, and the design of the Vietnamese language proficiency test questions for foreigners.
