Main Article Content
Abstract
The research aims at identifying the factors affecting the students’ career preparation. A survey was conducted among university students in Ho Chi Minh City who were actively participating in internships, yielding 300 valid responses. Using Cronbach’s Alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the findings confirm that proactive personality, career decision self-efficacy, and internship effectiveness positively impact students' career preparation. The study highlights the need for stronger collaboration between universities and businesses to design purposeful internship programs that not only provide students with practical skills but also enhance their confidence in their career pursuits.
