COLLABORATING WITH BUSINESSES TO IMPROVE PRACTICALITY IN BUSINESS JAPANESE EDUCATION

Abstract
Collaborating schools and businesses in education and human resource development to address societal demands is an inevitable trend. This aligns with national policy promoting such collaborations, encouraging businesses to contribute to training quality (Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW; Law on Higher Education No. 34/2018/QH14). This research was conducted with data collected from a survey of students of K59 majoring in business Japanese and the analysis of reports about the collaboration between the Foreign Trade University’s Japanese Language Department and Japanese companies. The results show that collaboration with Japanese businesses using a social network approach (SNA) effectively enhanced teaching practicality, including improved language proficiency, cultural understanding, and social/networking skills for students. The study also proposes recommendations for optimizing the university-business collaboration during the training process.
