APPLICATION OF GENERATIVE AI TOOL CHATGPT IN CHINESE LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract
Since the advent of ChatGPT, there has been a significant impact on education and academia. This platform, with its ability to generate content and provide detailed responses, has opened up a new field of research and applications in teaching and learning. ChatGPT offers educators useful tools such as creating assessment questions, providing teaching materials, suggesting teaching ideas, and drafting lectures. First of all, this article focuses on exploring the corresponding help provided by various applications of ChatGPT generative artificial intelligence tools to teachers in the process of Chinese teaching and lesson plan design. Secondly, it puts forward various precautions when using ChatGPT generative artificial intelligence tools and some limitations of using this tool. Finally, it proposes five strategies for Chinese teaching to achieve scientific change based on ChatGPT, to help it build a smart education ecology of “Human-computer collaboration” and promote the high-quality development of Chinese education.
