TEACHING FUNCTIONS IN THE DIRECTION OF INTEGRATED EDUCATION IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Abstract
Integrated education has been playing an important role in developing the ability of students. This article calrifies the view of intergrated education in teaching functions in Vietnam and Canada's secondary school textbooks. An experiment that helps students to be able to understand the meanings behind transforming among register systems of function and to utilize 4 steps of the modelling process into solving the practical mathematical problems is also mentioned.
